Daniel Fitzmorris currently resides in Friendswood TX and is very active in the surrounding communities. Fitzmorris is a 1999 Dobie graduate and played college football at Missouri Valley College. Fitzmorris was a 3X All Conference Free Safety, 2X Team Captain and finished with 250 Career Tackles and 12 Interceptions and a Member of the 1999 Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship team. After College, Daniel played football overseas in the country of Denmark. He played for the Kronborg Knights as a QB and was National Player of the Year Finalist in his 1st Season. Fitzmorris was able to play in 2 Mermaid Bowls, Denmarks version of the Super Bowl. Fitzmorris was also the Head Coach of the Knights for 2 seasons earning 2 Playoff berths. Daniel is a seasoned Football and Track coach at the High School level. Fitzmorris is currently a Special Education Instructor and Football Coach at Dobie High School. Previous stops include, Baytown Sterling HS, Pembroke Hill HS (MO), Westport HS (MO) and Northwest HS (MO). Fitzmorris is an active member of the THSCA and GHFCA as well as a Certified Coach/Volunteer for Texas Special Olympics. Daniel is married to Jessica and has 2 children, Ella and Thomas. Daniel enjoys spending time with his family and going to sporting events and playing flag football.
